This project was made in team Maria Kot, Grzegorz Latoń, Karolina Porada for a organic functional garden competition, organised by Zielony Loft Centrum Promocji Architektura i Zieleń Sp. z o.o. Our team gained 2nd place.
Main idea was to pack as many vegetables, fruits and herbs as possible in small space. We know that water is essential to create good biom for vegetation and small wildlife, so we proposed canal at central axis of this garden. Due to tiny ground plain, the design includes also a few vertical beds to maximize the crops.
That garden could be used not only for food production, but also for recreation. Water features, hammock and grass areas are perfect for those who like to go outside and relax in green, intimate places.
